Support during air-raid alarms
The story of a woman from Dnipropetrovsk region
When we live in these conditions, I believe it’s important to live — not just survive, and certainly not just exist. Times are hard — they always are. But we have no other life.
My parents taught me optimism. We have a small summer house here in the city — just in another district. A patch of land. But several generations of my family found comfort here.
After work or on weekends — tending the soil, growing something. There’s a simple pleasure in it. You can scroll through your phone forever, but nothing replaces being close to something real.
Yes, a lot flies over us lately. There have been cases of neighbouring plots being hit.
But our local sappers always clear things quickly. So I hope for the best and keep coming to my land. It’s my support and stability.
We take care of the land — and the land supports us.
